The Fairfield Rotary Club will hold its sixth annual Celebrity Luncheon on Monday, March 2nd at noon at Fairfield University. The luncheon is the largest fundraising event for Fairfield Rotary and enables over $20,000 of grants to local charitable efforts as well as an additional $21,000 in awards to graduating high school seniors who demonstrate a commitment to Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”.

Fairfield Rotary Club distributes nearly $20,000 to local organizations

The Rotary Club of Fairfield announced the Club’s annual allocation of grants to local organizations. Through its Club Foundation, Fairfield Rotary annually distributes funds to local and international service groups who apply for and demonstrate a need for capital to finance a project. In the past twenty years, the Club has given over $250,000.
