District Officers & Staff
Secretary: Douglas Lisk, Rotary Club of New Haven The Secretary serves the clubs by maintaining the district database with names and contact information of all Rotarians in the district. This database is used for a variety of mailings. He also gathers from club secretaries and tracks attendance and foundation contribution information. The Secretary also provides training and assistance for club secretaries. The statistical data maintained by the Secretary is communicated to Rotarians via the District handbook and Website.
Treasurer: Eric Zielinski, Rotary Club of Westport Sunrise The Treasurer serves the clubs as set forth in the Rotary International and District Manuals of Procedure, including accounting, custody receipt and disbursement of all district funds in accordance with generally accepted accounting practices. All disbursements of district funds must be approved by the Governor and supported by expense statements, voucher requests and/or invoices.
Webmaster: Thomas Barton, Rotary Club of Meriden The District Website is the primary information source in the district. District Rotarians will find articles, instructions, contact lists, newsletters, and downloadable forms on the website. There are also links to many additional websites of particular interest to members and clubs. The committee maintains this valuable resource.
District Trainer: Alan R. Hurst, PDG, Rotary Club of East Hampton
The Trainer helps the clubs by developing and implementing training programs for club and district leaders. These include the District Assembly, Pre-PETS, and District Leadership training seminars. The Trainer also serves as the primary advisor for the Governor during and prior to the Governor's term of office.
