Service

To encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional people united in the ideals of service through active support of projects and programs that make the world a better place to live.

The District Service Chairperson provides support and guidance to all areas of humanitarian service including Community, Vocational and International in which our District is involved.

The duties, which are shared with other members of the district leadership include:

• Providing support and guidance to clubs.
• Working with relevant RI and Rotary Foundation committees and resource groups
• Collaborating with the governor-elect to help establish district goals
• Meeting with district leaders to plan strategies to achieve club and district goals
• Promoting and attending district training meetings and the district conference
• Managing communication between RI and the district
