Rotary District 7980 Awards 2007-08 Be Recognized for Your Hard Work You Must Apply to Win Summary of Award Categories 2007-08 R.I. Presidential Citation (Form); Submit to DG Ernie by 4/1/08. District Governor’s Citation (See Handbook and www.rotary.org); print form, check boxes, submit to your ADG by 4/2/08. Donald A. Adams- One of the greatest honors our District bestows upon and individual Rotarian is the Donald A. Adams Award. For each of the last thirty years, our District has singled out one Rotarian, who is not a Past District Governor, for exceptional service provided to his or her Rotary Club, to our District, and to his or her community-at-large. (see Handbook page 45) Submit to Colin Gershon by 4/2/08 (see Handbook). District Significant Awards; Submit 14 copies to Colin Gershon by 4/2/08; AGs select winners. Pettengill Outstanding Club Award: For Rotary Club activities from 7/1/04 through 6/30/07 (see Handbook) Abraham I. Gordon Individual Achievement Award; Submit to DG Ernie by 4/2/08, preference is given for International Service (see Handbook) District Membership Awards; Julie Reppenhagen Chair; Awards based on data submitted to the District Secretary for the period 7/1/07- 4/1/08. The top three (3) clubs will be recognized by club size 25 and under, 26-50, 51 and over a. Clubs with the highest net growth rate (percentage) b. Clubs that induct the most new members c. All Clubs that sponsor new clubs will be recognized District EREY Awards; Mac Leask DRFC; Awards based on Rotary Foundation donations submitted to and recorded by TRF as of March 31, 2008. We will recognize the top three (3) clubs in total giving, per capita giving and increase in giving over prior year (through June 30, 2007). |
