Each year, Rotary connects thousands of young people to a global network of friendship, service, and action. As Rotaractors and Interactors, they make a difference in communities at home and abroad. Through Rotary Youth Exchange, they explore new cultures. With Global Leadership Initiative, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and Next Generations programs, participants learn skills that will help them succeed as community leaders. District 7980 in Southern Connecticut is no exception. Each year, 500,000 young people participate in Rotary Youth Service programs worldwide.
