Rotarians are committed to doing good in the world. The Rotary Foundation provides guidance and resources to clubs to help them accomplish life changing results around the globe and within their communities. While Foundation programs are not the only projects that clubs take on – they are certainly the largest and often leverage the resources of several clubs in several countries. Foundation programs must fall within the six areas of focus shown in the video above.

It takes the work of many Rotarians serving on various committees to accomplish the work of the Foundation within our district. The Chair of the District 7980 Foundation Committee is responsible to the District Governor for managing and coordinating all Foundation Committees and for carrying out duties as assigned by The Rotary Foundation.

The Rotary Foundation values input from members throughout the world and they have created a group of Rotarians who serve as members of the “Cadre” of Technical Advisors.
